Scrufster are a UK based group who make software for biological scientists. Our current projects are HabitApp and PrimerPipeline.

I am a PhD student in the Organisms and Environment Division of Cardiff University. Like most PhD's, I've had my fair share of issues, for example needing to go on field work and not being able to locate a Densiometer, or struggling for a long time and making many mistakes while trying to use Linux software to design microsatellite markers. However, together with Greg we have tried to find solutions to these particular issues and wanted to share them with others.

I'm a computer programmer and Hannah's long suffering husband. I do what I am told.
